About the Business
The Costa family have been frying fish and chips in Stoke-On-Trent for over 20 years. Their first shop opened during the early 80's in Longton which is where the Costas introduced tasty fish and chips to Stoke-On-Trent. Years passed and the family then moved to a shop in Hanford called Moby Dix. Moby Dix has been open for over 20 years and has built up a very high reputation. Some customers travel for almost 30 minutes to enjoy fish and chips in Stoke-on-Trent made by the Costa Family.
In 2009 Dan and Gus Costa opened their own shop - Costa's Catch of the Day. Using the techniques their father taught them, Dan and Gus are now amongst a rapidly growing area in Trentham Lakes serving up top quality fish and chips in an up and coming area of Stoke-on-Trent. Costa's Catch of the Day includes a seating area where customers are more than welcome to eat inside the shop.
